SAT affects foreign trade; Provoking blockage of patents

In Mexico, most of customs agents have bren strained by the lack of communication between SAT and ANAM, causing blockage of patents.

The Tax administration system (SAT) is in dispute with the National Customs Agency (ANAM), due to the implementation of the system called “aviso de cruce” (crossing notice), which it’s affecting the foreign trade.

In Mexico there are around 800 customs agents, from which, most of them are continuing to suffer from the blockage of patents induced by the lack of communication between these two dependencies.

According to experts in foreign trade, both the National Customs Agency (ANAM) and the Tax administration system (SAT) are keeping their customs agents uncertainty since they don’t make it clear who has the authority to help them.
